Bionix® Sharpens Core Commitment to Ear, Nose and Throat Care with Strategic Transition of Radiation Therapy Line to CQ Medical
MAUMEE, Ohio (December 1, 2025) – Bionix®, a trusted innovator in medical devices for more than 40 years, today announced the sale of its Radiation Therapy business unit to CQ Medical, a global leader in patient radiotherapy positioning and healthcare innovation. The divestiture marks a strategic step in Bionix’s vision to sharpen its focus on the company’s growing Ambulatory Care business.
For decades, Bionix has supported radiation oncology professionals with a portfolio of high-quality products designed to enhance patient positioning, marking and treatment precision. With the transition of this business unit to CQ Medical, these products – and the commercial team that supports them – will join an organization specialized in radiotherapy solutions and well-positioned to advance the category.

Over the coming months, CQ Medical will begin transitioning Bionix radiation therapy product lines and operations into its existing manufacturing facilities. Both organizations are working closely to ensure a seamless experience for customers, including uninterrupted access to products, service and support.
Following the transaction, Bionix will continue operating its Ambulatory Care business from its headquarters in Maumee, Ohio. The company will accelerate development across its expanding range of clinically trusted solutions for Ear, Nose and Throat care and other physician practice essentials, while strengthening partnerships with healthcare providers who rely on Bionix for high-quality, patient-centric devices.
