  • Do I still need a suture removal kit?

    The SutureOut® tool replaces the need for a traditional suture removal kit, eliminating the need for scissors and the re-sterilization or disposal of metal tools. Users may still require the use of forceps or pick-ups of their choice.

  • How do you hold the SutureOut® tool?

    Grasp the SutureOut® tool between two fingers below the adhesive collection surface.

  • How should the SutureOut® tool be used?

    Full instructions on how to use the SutureOut® tool can be found in the Instructions for Use, which is included in every box. Below is a brief overview of how to use the SutureOut® tool:

    • Approach the suture from the side.

    • Slice through one side of the suture directly below the knot using the guarded-blade.

    • Gently pull up the suture and remove.

    • Place the suture on the adhesive surface. Repeat until all sutures are removed

  • Can I use it as a left-hander?

    Yes, healthcare practitioners have found that it’s especially easy to use, no matter which hand is dominant.

  • I experience tremors in my hands. Is the SutureOut® tool an option for me to use?
