FAQs

  • How do I order this product?

You can order by contacting Bionix directly (bionix@bionix.com or 800.551.7096) or contacting your distributor of choice.

  • What are some of the advantages of using a TruGuard™?

The biggest advantage of using an oral stent is to exclude the healthy mucosa of the oral cavity from the treatment volume. By creating separation you will decrease the incidence and severity of painful mucositis which leads to dehydration, malnutrition, altered taste, dry mouth, and the need for a feeding tube. The TruGuard provides up to 2.0 cm - 3.0 cm of separation between the area of treatment and healthy tissues. Decreasing backscatter from dental fillings and providing a customizable oral stent at the time of simulation are some of the secondary benefits of the TruGuard.
