Lighted MicroSuction System

Precision light, quiet suction, confident results.

Description

The Bionix Lighted Microsuction System combines illumination, magnification and hospital-grade suction in one cordless solution. With three adjustable suction levels and quiet operation at just 54 dB – softer than a standard ENT pump – it supports safe cerumen removal and foreign body extraction while improving patient comfort.

The Lighted Microsuction System delivers a better way to perform ear and nasal procedures by bringing together bright illumination, magnification and effective suction in a compact, rechargeable pump. Designed to improve visibility and streamline procedures, this complete system supports confident removal of cerumen and foreign bodies while enhancing the overall clinical experience.

Why clinicians choose Bionix:

  • Safer, more precise procedures – Integrated light and magnification provide a clear view of the ear canal or nasal passage, improving accuracy for earwax removal and foreign body extraction while reducing the chance of complications.

  • Enhanced patient comfort – The hospital-grade suction pump, developed by a pediatric ENT, operates at just 54 dB – about the level of a soft conversation – compared to 69 dB for standard ENT vacuum pumps. Three adjustable suction levels let you match the power to the procedure.

  • Compact, cordless and portable – The rechargeable pump is lightweight and easy to use in all patient care settings.

Versatile clinical use – Supports both cerumen removal and foreign body removal, making it a cost-effective tool for routine care.

  • Smart investment – Improves clinical efficiency, supports better patient outcomes and adds value for healthcare practices.

The Bionix Lighted Microsuction System offers precision light, quiet suction and confident care – a better way to perform ear and nasal procedures.

FAQs

  • Can I use the Lighted MicroSuction System for airway management or nasal mucus suction?

No. The Bionix Lighted MicroSuction System is indicated for cerumen removal in the ear and for removal of foreign bodies in the ear or nasal passage. It is not intended for airway management or routine nasal secretion suctioning.

  • Why won’t the suction pump turn on?

Make sure the device is fully charged before use. If the pump still doesn’t power on, contact Bionix Customer Service at 800.551.7096 or [email protected] for assistance.

  • I already use the Bionix® Lighted Suction Handles. Can I use them with the Lighted MicroSuction System?

Yes, the Lighted MicroSuction System includes the ergonomic Lighted Suction Handle.

  • Is the light source compatible with other Bionix lighted tools/devices?

Yes, the Rechargeable Light Source works with all Bionix lighted products, including ClearLook® Lighted Ear Curettes™, the Lighted Forceps and more.

  • Why am I not getting any vacuum when I begin the procedure?

With the suction pump turned on, place your thumb over the opening on the back of the Lighted Suction Handle to activate the vacuum. Leaving the port uncovered will prevent vacuum formation and reduce suction performance.

  • How do I charge the MicroSuction pump?

Use only the charging equipment provided with your system and follow the instructions in the user instructions. Always follow your facility’s safety policies for charging and plug use.

  • Are the Lighted Suction Handles sterile?

No. The Lighted Suction Handles are non-sterile, single-use devices and should be disposed of after each patient use.

  • My suction pump is leaking, what should I do?

Avoid allowing fluids to enter the tubing, Cerumen Catcher or suction pump. If fluid does enter, it may exit through the drain at the bottom. Wipe the pump, place it on a towel and turn it on. It will shut off automatically after about three minutes to help clear residual fluid. Repeat if necessary.
