Precision light, quiet suction, confident results.
Precision light, quiet suction, confident results.
The Bionix Lighted MicroSuction System combines illumination, magnification and hospital-grade suction in one cordless solution. The system includes the Bionix Rechargeable Light Source for bright, reliable illumination.
With three adjustable suction levels and quiet operation at just 54 dB, the Lighted MicroSuction System supports safe cerumen removal and foreign body extraction while improving patient comfort. Designed to enhance visibility and streamline ear and nasal procedures, the system brings together effective suction, integrated light and magnification in a compact, rechargeable pump for confident clinical care.
Safer, more precise procedures – Integrated light and magnification provide a clear view of the ear canal or nasal passage, improving accuracy for earwax removal and foreign body extraction while reducing the chance of complications.
Enhanced patient comfort – The hospital-grade suction pump, developed by a pediatric ENT, operates at just 54 dB – about the level of a soft conversation – compared to 69 dB for standard ENT vacuum pumps. Three adjustable suction levels let you match the power to the procedure.
Compact, cordless and portable – The rechargeable pump is lightweight and easy to use in all patient care settings.
Versatile clinical use – Supports both cerumen management and foreign body removal, making it a cost-effective tool for everyday care.
Clinical education included
Upon purchase and product registration, clinicians receive emailed access to a clinical education video for the Lighted MicroSuction System.

No. The Bionix Lighted MicroSuction System is indicated for cerumen removal in the ear and for removal of foreign bodies in the ear or nasal passage. It is not intended for airway management or routine nasal secretion suctioning.
Make sure the device is fully charged before use. If the pump still doesn’t power on, contact Bionix Customer Service at 800.551.7096 or [email protected] for assistance.
Yes, the Lighted MicroSuction System includes the ergonomic Lighted Suction Handle.
Yes, the Rechargeable Light Source works with all Bionix lighted products, including ClearLook® Lighted Ear Curettes™, the Lighted Forceps and more.
With the suction pump turned on, place your thumb over the opening on the back of the Lighted Suction Handle to activate the vacuum. Leaving the port uncovered will prevent vacuum formation and reduce suction performance.
Use only the charging equipment provided with your system and follow the instructions in the user instructions. Always follow your facility’s safety policies for charging and plug use.
No. The Lighted Suction Handles are non-sterile, single-use devices and should be disposed of after each patient use.
Avoid allowing fluids to enter the tubing, Cerumen Catcher or suction pump. If fluid does enter, it may exit through the drain at the bottom. Wipe the pump, place it on a towel and turn it on. It will shut off automatically after about three minutes to help clear residual fluid. Repeat if necessary.
Tubing and cerumen catcher replacement should follow your facility’s established infection control guidelines. In addition, tubing and cerumen catcher should be replaced if there is visible soil buildup or if you notice a reduction in vacuum performance, as these can indicate compromised function. For any uncertainty, consult your internal protocols or clinical leadership to ensure compliance with best practices.
Tubing and the cerumen catcher can be cleaned using warm, soapy water or placed in a dishwasher, depending on your facility’s protocol.
Important: Do not run water through the pump. This can cause internal damage and flooding.
Always follow your facility’s cleaning standards, and ensure components are fully dry before reuse to maintain proper function.
For optimal performance, the MicroSuction pump should be placed upright, resting on its designated feet - not on its side.
Positioning the pump correctly allows gravity to work as intended, helping keep the Cerumen Catcher in place when not under suction. It also supports consistent suction performance, maintains proper internal function and reduces unnecessary strain on the system. An upright position improves stability during procedures and helps ensure reliable operation throughout use.
Avoid operating the pump on its side, as this can impact performance, disrupt component positioning and affect long-term durability.
